About the 2025 program
The 2025 Best of IoT Awards were created to recognize organizations and individuals demonstrating standout achievement across the Internet of Things. The program covered innovation throughout the connected technology ecosystem, including devices, platforms, security, sustainability, leadership, hardware, and real-world deployments.
Entries were intended to highlight work developed, released, updated, or significantly advanced during the 2025 calendar year, with evaluation focused on measurable impact, technical strength, execution, and practical value.

- Entries Opened: Tuesday, December 2, 2025
- Early Bird Deadline: Friday, January 16, 2026
- Final Entry Deadline: Friday, February 13, 2026
- Program Concluded: Tuesday, March 10, 2026
2025 entry fees
- Early Bird Entry: $295
- Standard Entry: $395
Each category submission was treated as a separate entry.
2025 eligibility
- Open worldwide to companies, organizations, startups, and individuals operating within the IoT ecosystem
- Eligible work must have been developed, released, updated, or significantly advanced during the 2025 calendar year
- Organizations could enter multiple categories when each submission represented a legitimate fit
- Each category required a distinct submission and supporting evidence
Evaluation criteria
- Impact: Demonstrated operational, financial, safety, sustainability, or user-experience outcomes
- Innovation: Meaningful technical, product, or business-model differentiation
- Execution: Evidence of adoption, reliability, security, and the ability to scale
- Interoperability: Standards alignment, integrations, ecosystem compatibility, and deployment value
- Usability: Deployment experience, management, accessibility, and time to value
