They support secure onboarding, device lifecycle management, flexible data pipelines, event processing, analytics, observability, and clean interfaces for builders and operators. They also integrate with hardware, networks, cloud environments, and enterprise systems to help teams move from pilot to production with confidence.

Winning entries demonstrate production-grade performance at scale, strong interoperability, and a developer and operator experience that speeds delivery without compromising reliability or security. Evidence of customer adoption, partner momentum, and measurable outcomes strengthens the case.

Who should enter

Entries are welcome from platform providers and technology teams delivering the core software, services, infrastructure, and tools that enable IoT solutions to be deployed, managed, integrated, and scaled.

Judging criteria

• Scalability and reliability: Proven performance, uptime, fleet size, architecture maturity, and production readiness
• Interoperability: Protocol support, standards alignment, integrations, ecosystem fit, and deployment flexibility
• Security posture: Identity, access control, onboarding, encryption, updates, monitoring, and security maturity
• Developer and operator experience: APIs, SDKs, tooling, documentation, observability, workflows, and usability
• Time-to-value: Deployment speed, templates, accelerators, cost efficiency, and measurable customer outcomes

Eligibility

• Open worldwide to companies, organizations, teams, and individuals operating in the Internet of Things
• The platform must be launched, updated, adopted, validated, or materially advanced within the applicable award year
• Entries should include evidence of customer adoption, benchmarks, deployment outcomes, partner traction, or third-party validation
• Confidential materials may be summarized or redacted for judging, with references included where possible

What to submit

• Executive summary covering platform capabilities, differentiation, deployment value, and outcomes
• Evidence of impact, such as KPIs, architecture snapshots, integration lists, customer examples, deployment data, or reliability metrics
• Supporting materials, including product pages, documentation, screenshots, platform diagrams, case studies, or customer references
• Optional demo, technical brief, product walkthrough, or reference contact
