2026 IoT Asset Tracking & Visibility Award Now Open

Turning Real-Time Visibility Into Operational Control

2026 IoT Asset Tracking and Visibility Award badge

Entries are now open for the inaugural 2026 IoT Asset Tracking & Visibility Award, recognizing connected technologies that help organizations locate, monitor, protect, and manage physical assets with greater accuracy and control.

Equipment, tools, vehicles, inventory, containers, and other high-value assets frequently move between facilities, job sites, warehouses, transportation networks, and customer locations. Without reliable visibility, organizations may depend on manual records, incomplete information, or delayed updates that increase search time, downtime, loss, and operational costs.

The IoT Asset Tracking & Visibility Award honors technologies that replace those blind spots with timely, actionable intelligence. Eligible solutions may combine sensors, tags, positioning technologies, wireless connectivity, software platforms, and analytics to provide insight into asset location, condition, status, movement, custody, and utilization.

Organizations developing or deploying asset visibility technologies may submit entries through Friday, December 4, 2026. Early bird pricing is available through Friday, November 6.

What This Award Recognizes

The 2026 IoT Asset Tracking & Visibility Award recognizes connected products, platforms, deployments, and supporting technologies that improve how physical assets are identified, located, monitored, and managed across real-world environments.

Eligible entries may use GPS, cellular, Bluetooth Low Energy, RFID, ultra-wideband, LPWAN, real-time location systems, or other connected technologies. Solutions may operate indoors, outdoors, or across environments where assets regularly move between facilities, vehicles, job sites, warehouses, transportation networks, and supply chains.

Entries may include:

  • Real-time location systems and indoor positioning technologies
  • GPS, cellular, BLE, RFID, UWB, and LPWAN asset trackers
  • Equipment, tool, vehicle, inventory, and container tracking platforms
  • Condition monitoring and cold chain visibility technologies
  • Fleet, logistics, and supply chain visibility solutions
  • Asset intelligence, utilization, and workflow automation platforms
  • Connected technologies improving chain of custody, accountability, or asset security

Strong entries will demonstrate more than the ability to display an asset’s location. They should show how connected visibility supports measurable operational improvements, such as reducing loss, shortening search time, improving utilization, preventing delays, strengthening maintenance planning, protecting sensitive goods, or automating asset-related workflows.

Entry Schedule

  • Entries Open: Tuesday, October 6, 2026
  • Early Bird Deadline: Friday, November 6, 2026 | $395 per entry
  • Final Entry Deadline: Friday, December 4, 2026 | $495 per entry
  • Winners Announced: Tuesday, December 15, 2026

Organizations may submit multiple products, platforms, deployments, or technologies, although each must be entered as a separate submission. Entries should focus on work developed, released, updated, deployed, or announced during the applicable award year.

Why Apply

Winning the IoT Asset Tracking & Visibility Award provides independent recognition for technology that helps organizations gain better control over the physical assets supporting their operations.

Award recognition can help organizations:

  • Demonstrate measurable operational value to customers and partners
  • Build credibility within the asset tracking, logistics, industrial, and broader IoT markets
  • Highlight innovation in positioning, sensing, connectivity, analytics, or deployment
  • Showcase successful applications across facilities, fleets, supply chains, and field operations
  • Receive an official winner badge, dedicated winners page, and newsroom coverage
  • Gain additional visibility across IoThinkTank digital channels

The strongest submissions will clearly explain the assets being tracked, the technologies involved, the operating environment, and the measurable results achieved. Supporting evidence may include deployment metrics, improvements in asset utilization, reductions in loss or downtime, workflow efficiencies, customer results, or other indicators of operational impact.

If your technology helps organizations understand what assets they have, where those assets are, what condition they are in, and how effectively they are being used, this is your opportunity to earn recognition for that work.
