What We’re Looking For

We invite submissions from companies, developers, and cybersecurity leaders offering security solutions or practices for the IoT ecosystem, including but not limited to:

• Secure device provisioning and identity management
• Zero trust architecture or secure boot solutions
• End-to-end data encryption, key management, or tokenization
• Threat detection, prevention, or response technologies
• AI- or ML-based cybersecurity for IoT networks
• Platform-level security frameworks or compliance tools
• Hardware-level protections (e.g., TPMs, secure elements)
• Secure OTA updates and lifecycle device management
• Privacy-by-design and regulatory compliance enablers (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)

Solutions can span edge, fog, and cloud layers. Both standalone security products and embedded security within broader IoT solutions are eligible.

Eligibility

The 2025 IoT Security Excellence Award is open to companies, organizations, and individuals involved in developing or deploying IoT security solutions. Eligible submissions must focus on technologies or projects that have been launched, significantly updated, or implemented during the 2025 calendar year.
